Sometimes the most challenging projects are those that require working within existing systems. This was certainly the case when we undertook a major pipework modification project for a heat recovery system. The key challenge wasn’t just the technical complexity of the work – it was ensuring the facility maintained heating throughout the upgrade process.
Our approach began with a thorough assessment of the existing system. We spent time understanding the current flow patterns and identifying potential bottlenecks.
This insight informed our design for the new pipework configuration, which would improve system efficiency while allowing for staged implementation.
The installation was a carefully choreographed process, with our team working in phases to maintain system operation. Through meticulous planning and execution, we completed the modifications without any interruption to the facility’s heating system. The upgraded system now operates with improved efficiency, demonstrating how thoughtful engineering can enhance existing infrastructure.
